Senior Director of Quality Assurance

Viet Le serves as Senior Director of Quality at PercAssist, bringing more than 25 years of experience in quality engineering and quality systems within the medical device industry. His expertise spans the design & development controls, implementation, and execution of robust quality management systems, as well as the application of quality engineering methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.

In his role, Viet is responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and long-term strategic quality planning. His experience includes supporting Class II and Class III medical devices, such as drug eluting stents, neuro implants, compression devices, 4D ultrasound imaging catheters, and TMS machines used to treat depression.

Viet has held director and manager roles at several start-up medical device companies, including Magnus Medical, Nuvera Medical, Radial Medical, Pulsar Medical, Cardiva Medical, Cardiomind, and Conor Medsystems. In addition, he has consulted for other medical device organizations, providing expertise in quality engineering, test method validation, process validation and QMS setup.

Viet earned a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
