PercAssist eVAD™ System Nominated for Jon DeHaan Foundation Innovation Award, Featured in Multiple Sessions at EuroPCR 2026

The PercAssist eVAD™ System Technology was selected as one of the top three innovations from 80 applicants; PV Loop study results presented by investigators from Duke University Medical Center, North Carolina and Erasmus University, Rotterdam / Ziekenhuis Oost Limburg, Belgium , demonstrate biventricular hemodynamic support in cardiogenic shock.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — The PercAssist eVAD™ System's technology for cardiogenic shock was nominated for the Jon DeHaan Foundation Innovation Award at EuroPCR 2026, held May 19–22 in Paris, France. The PercAssist eVAD technology was selected as one of the top three innovations for presentation among 80 applicants.

Mitchell Krucoff, MD, of Duke University Medical Center, presented the PercAssist eVAD extravascular pulsatile technology, including PV Loop study results demonstrating biventricular support, as well as results from the first-in-human clinical experience.

Separately, Nicolas Van Mieghem, MD, PhD, presented PercAssist eVAD System PV Loop study results at EuroPCR 2026. The results demonstrated biventricular hemodynamic improvements including ejection fraction, cardiac output, stroke work, and stroke volume, as well as improvements in biventricular contractility in an ovine esmolol-induced cardiogenic shock model.

This “out-of-the-box” cardiogenic shock technology is extravascular and pulsatile and does not require anticoagulation therapy or large-profile access — supporting an important unmet clinical need. PercAssist continues to expand its clinical experience in SCAI C and D subjects.

About the PercAssist eVAD System
